MULTI-MEDIA

JOURNALIST

I’m a hard working broadcast journalist, passionate about telling unique, life-altering stories and determined to make a difference through the art of journalism.

With experience in almost all areas of news production – I've worked as a one-woman band shooting, writing, reporting, and editing stories for the past three years, while working with professional organizations as a reporter, including RTDNA.

Inspired by politics, I've addressed foreign affairs and the practical implications of tourism advertising in Rosarito, Mexico, and reported as chief news correspondent for the International Agency of Business Disciplines annual conference; both projects requiring interviewing, video editing, and marketing skills.

As a full time co-op for NBC Network News in Washington, D.C., I spent a semester conducting research for producers, capturing sound bites for news PKGs, and interviewing congressional leaders on the Hill.

As a two-year intern for WHDH 7 News in Boston, I've assisted reporters during shoots, logged and kept track of James “Whitey” Bulger’s federal trial, contacted emergency personnel at the assignment desk, and worked with investigative producer, Mary Schwager, vetting phone tips, calling sources, and conducting research for investigative projects.

As a multimedia journalist, I've created and produced an award nominated online news show, Spinning the State, which addresses and explicates statewide policies in Massachusetts!

An Emerson College alum, I graduated Summa Cum Laude June 2014 with a BS in Multimedia Journalism and Political Communications, and couldn't be more excited to begin my career with the station I grew up watching, WWLP 22 News Springfield!

Latest Story

Marathon Monday has represented freedom and unity in the city of Boston since the 1800s, but last year's bombings cast a dark shadow over the holiday. This year, spectators, runners, and supporters came from all over the world to set Boston free from fear, and unify the community.
